Natural Rearing improves the health and increases the longevity of our Scottish Terriers. By raising them on a natural, raw diet; using no vaccinations (rabies is required by law) and allowing no chemicals to be used on or around them, our Scottish Terriers thrive.

Our veterinary practices are of a holistic nature to insure the continued health of our Scotties. We use only proven safe natural alternatives for flea, tick and parasite control.

The rearing of our dogs and puppies is by natures design. Our dams decide when to breed and they choose if and whom they will breed with. We do not believe in artificial insemination and do not force our bitches to have litters. We do provide the opportunity and the rest is up to nature.

When one of our bitches has puppies, she and her puppies decide when it's time to wean . Puppies who wean when Nature decides are healthier, better adjusted, and easier to train than puppies who are just pulled off their Dams at some arbitrary age like 6 weeks because "it's the 'accepted' way of doing it.Our bitches will often nurse puppies up to 12 weeks old and during that time the puppies are getting a huge education from Mom dog including housebreaking and bite inhibition along with the extra nutrition from Mother's milk.

When you bring a KC Scottish Terrier into your home, you do not just get a puppy, you also get a valued team member who will be available 24/7 365 days per year to help you raise your Scottie to live a long healthy life by continuing the Natural Rearing protocols which have already been established. We will be your mentor if you are not familiar with Natural Rearing. We will teach you how to raw feed, use natural parasite control and how to find a good holistic vet.

We stay in touch and are ready at a drop of the preverbal hat to assist, advise, help in any way or to simply chat about your KC Scottish Terrier. We love to receive photo's and updates as to how things are going. We are never too busy to talk to any of our puppy people or our puppies! And as that beautiful puppy matures into a wonderful adult Scottie, we will still be there. We were there when the pups were born and we will be there for them when it is time to cross the bridge when they are old.
